Bullying @ Schools
Hey peeps, I'm back, sorry I took so long but i decided to eat, wash some clothes, iron and get my rotations groove on...lol
I'm in bed now so we can chat a little
Someone suggested that another contributing factor to bullying can be peer pressure and i think that is a good point. Sometimes to fit in with our peers some kids may be influenced to do the wrong thing and bullying is one off them. They may see It as fun but it is never fun from the receiving end. This is why we have to listen very closely to our kids because sometimes they may not come out directly and ask for help. They may say a "friend" has a problem because they are afraid to ask you directly for help.
We are challenged on a daily basis as parents & guardians to educate our kids that once these types off situations occur they must find someone they can trust if they cannot speak to their parents to confide in.
Please be aware though that peer pressure has a good and bad side or it can be positive or negative. For this reason it is important to listen to our kids and try to determine whether they are having a problem and whether it is never or positive and give advice that is thoughtful and in line with what they are experiencing and not what you think they are experiencing. When my 17 year old, Arian comes to me with any issue I listen and then I would give my advice in a sarcastic way (which helps a lot) and hear what he thinks. I always tell him be a leader not a follower.
Peeps, talk nah! Let a sista know what your thoughts are....what about low self esteem how does that contribute to "Bullying @ Schools"
Laterz & good night peeps
