Bullying continues....
Well peeps we were supposed to be having discussions, as often as possible on the topic "Bullying @ Schools". It seems that people don't have a voice because I only got one comment (thanks to that person). Apparently the majority off people ONLY react to something if it affects them directly. But we must also know that our kids learn from how we live our lives. If lets say for example, your kid happens to mention that a kid got bullied @ school how you react and the type off questions you ask will leave a lasing impression on them. You have to be interested whether it affects them directly or indirectly. You must have a voice and encourage your kids to have a voice also.
Now I am wondering if people do ave a voice because I am looking for your thoughts on this Hot Topic in schools. I for one thinks that parents need to ask their kids how the day at school was and then listen (with their eyes & ears) closely to what their kids are saying. Also if going to the school affects your child then calling the teacher or school for a meeting will and can also help.
Kids today are get very defensive if there is a "situation" at school and their parents want to visit the school, that is why I said you can call the class teacher or school and still discuss or arrange to meet the teacher and have an off the compound meeting or you can even email the school. This way our kids don't feel ashamed, angry or embarrassed. As parents we have to know our lids and then react accordingly.
So I have two questions

So I have two questions
- If my kid does not like to talk how do I go about finding out what is happening at school?
- If my kid is being bullied at school what are the signs?
So my peeps, talk to meh nah! Let a sista hear your VOICE !!! ....
