Its Holiday Time Again!!!

OMG!!! It sure pays to be a Trini. I love Trinidad & Tobago because we have so many holidays (knock on wood) lmao. For those off you who are not aware, this week is Easter and in Trinidad we have from Good Friday and Easter Monday as holidays, so those off us who don't work or don't care to work over the weekend, we will have what we in Trinbago call it a "long weekend" yay!

So those off you poor suckers who left Trinidad, like my sisters, to reside abroad for whatever reason, hard luck you are missing out!!! We are going to church on Friday morning, then one off our radio stations 104.7FM is having a sports day on Friday so we are hitting that to boot. Come Saturday we are hitting the beaches all weekend not to mention making some much missed curry duck and buss-up-shot, yum yum yummy!! Oh I forgot we will be hitting a pool party on Saturday (Gloria Saturday) night. Long time no dance the night away......hmmmm

So for those of you who won't be in Trinidad this "Long Weekend Coming" Hard Luck I say. If you can afford it do come on down, the weather is soooo sunny and bright and the beaches call you in the day and parties call you at night.

All work and no play sure makes Jack & Jill very dull to be around.

Bullying @ Schools

Hi Peeps good night!! Part 3 off our topic.... I just wanted to add some thoughts on this topic that is rampant in all schools world wide. Last time we were looking @ peer pressure as another contributing factor to Bullying @ Schools. It is so sad when a child has to stoop to any level to fit in with the crowd. These kids want to belong at school and there are kids who prey on these type off kids. But what causes it, low self esteem, fear of the other kids or maybe insecurities that are born from the home? When parents can't find or make time for their kids then these kids, especially if they are easily influenced will find comfort with the wrong crowd or group off people. I try my best to spend time with my family as a whole and individually and I also factor in "My Time"

As Busy As A Bee

Hey guys its been a while since we've chatted, I'm busy, busy, busy as a bee!!! You know I love blogging with you guys but I have an exam next month and the stress is making me feel so sick these days. My plan initially was to finish this course this year but things look a tad bit grim, so i am forced to cross my fingers and toes.   I usually get a lift from looking and green plants and surroundings so here are a couple green plants that help to lift my spirits. I just love these green plants, I'm not to much in love with flowered plants, maybe roses ONLY!!!  Do continue to have a blessed, fun filled and safe day my peeps!!
