Caring For Our Parents

One of the things we have to look out for as we get oVer 30...is taking care off our parents. They need us more and more as we get older because believe it or not they are getting older also. Most folks tend to get all caught up in their lives and forget the main reason for their existence is the love of their parents.
These days my life is all consumed with my parents because they are both over 70 and for what it's worth they became more dependent on me when my dad started to get scoliosis. It saddens me to see how a strong, large frame man can get to this point in just over a couple years. I feel sad but I try to be all strong and in control. What can you do but "be there for your parents" you then to become so over protective off them that you get all caught up emotionally in caring for them.
For me to ignore my parents who raised, cared and loved me all my life is so hard. I met a gentleman today in the pharmacy when I took my mother to purchase some medications and he said his son got married and stop talking to the whole family and he is not leaving him anything...That is so bad, when you marry you have to care for your family as well as your spouse's family, because the two became one at marriage.

Any ways folks let us make time, at least, twice a week if we are "sooo" busy to reach out to our parents especially to see if they need our help with anything but mostly to just touch base and let them know we love and care for them...

So folks remember life is short and time waits for no one so take time out with your parents and give some love back.

Good night all be safe!!
